What To Do Before Your Visit
First of all, we’d just like to say a HUGE thank you for booking in your lovely pooch to be groomed with us! We can assure you they are going to have the best time ever.
There are just a couple of things you can do before your appointment to make sure your pet is well prepared!
Walkies!
This gives them a chance to do any poopoos or weewees before they get to us so they won’t be uncomfortable on the table during their pamper sesh. We offer them regular trips out in the garden throughout so they can do their business if needed, but taking them out before they’re dropped off always helps!
Fed And Watered
There’s nothing worse than being stuck away from home and HUNGRY. Water is of course always available if they fancy a quick drink whilst they’re hanging out with us!
Treats and Toys
Feel free to bring any of their favourite treats along for us to give them during the groom, there is a supply here – but it helps make the dog feel at home if they get given their regular treats and have their own toys around them.
Fleas
Please make sure your dog is up to date with flea treatment and has not got any before you drop them off at the studio. It is a massive problem for us if the studio is contaminated by fleas, as you know how quickly they can spread and we can’t be too careful when it comes to our other customer’s dogs catching them too. If we find fleas on your dog once you’ve dropped them off with us, we will give a thorough flea bath and get rid of any signs of infestation on the poor little pooch. However, this does mean we would have to cancel the rest of the appointments for the day to fumigate the salon and clean all towels, equipment etc. You will be charged extra for this – anything from £20 depending on how bad the infestation is.
New Customers
If you are a new customer you will be asked to complete and sign a disclaimer form, whilst your pooch gets the chance to have a look around the garden and the studio. You will be asked exactly how you’d like your dog to be groomed, in what style and anything specific to particularly don’t want. Doing this each time gives us the best chance at making your dog look exactly how you want!
You can relax from this point on! In just a few hours you’ll be back and being covered in slobbery kisses from your super beautiful, freshly groomed doggy!
